"I was in the Navy for four years and both my parents are military so I am well accustomed to MRE's (Meals Ready to Eat). When the Army started to switch over to these meals, it was a welcome change. Now that my mom brings some home, I have had a chance to try these. I think these are the most brilliant ideas that have come to my attention. I also enjoy that these taste good and are easy to make. We can focus on our current situation while we are making the food which makes perfect sense.

Also the price is quite reasonable. So, I would recommend this to everyone, even those who hated the MRE's the military provided for the past thirty plus years."

"We use HeaterMeals Plus Self-Heating Meal Kits at our Annual Field Training Exercise for our National Guard unit. HeaterMeals are handy during troop movement when soldiers need a hot meal.  It gives our unit a break from MREs, catered meals and sack lunches.  I have tried 4 different HeaterMeals Plus Meal Kits, including the Scrambled Eggs Breakfast, and I think they are very good.  Our unit likes the fact that HeaterMeals have much less sodium than an MRE, and we don’t get the waste when we serve HeaterMeals, because they eat everything in the meal kit, unlike standard military field rations”.
