HeaterMeals EX, The Self-Heating Meal is Designed for EXtended Storage.

HeaterMeals EX entrees have up to a 5 year
shelf-life, and are ideal for Emergency Preparedness, Pandemic Flu and Business Continuity Planning.

The food in HeaterMeals EX is fully cooked, and then is safety-sealed in a high barrier, flexible, 4-layer foil pouch.  It is heated a second time under pressure to assure a safe, easy-to-store meal, with an EXtended Shelf-Life.

The process is similar to that of canning, but instead of a metal can, the food in HeaterMeals EX is packed, cooked, heated and served in a more modern package.

The result is extended storage without the need for refrigeration, and a ready-to-eat meal which retains its natural moisture, texture and taste.  When stored properly, HeaterMeals EX entrees are a simple solution for long-term emergency planning and feeding.

Important Note:

To safeguard shelf-life, HeaterMeals must be stored at 80 degrees Fahrenheit or below. These charts refer to sustained temperatures. Since sustained temperatures are not generally encountered in other-than-air-conditioned facilities, you may be inclined to use maximum or average temperatures. The use of maximum temperatures would yield a conservative estimate, but the use of average temperatures may yield an estimate that is overly optimistic.  Estimated
