The HeaterMeals Company (HMC) specializes in the research and development, manufacture and marketing of portable electrochemical heaters and packaged food products incorporating such heaters. The HeaterMeals Company ("HMC" or the "Company") is made up of ZestoTherm, Inc. and it's wholly owned subsidiary, HeaterMeals Inc. The HMC was organized in 1984, but only commenced commercially significant operations in September 1990 after its research activities resulted in development of an electrochemical heater that was acceptable to the U.S. government for use by the military. |

ZestoTherm's electrochemical heaters are water activated, flameless, non-toxic and flexible in design. ZestoTherm's electrochemical principle product, the ZT Energy Pad, is sold as "Flameless Ration Heaters" (or FRHs) to prepared-food assemblers who are suppliers to the United States military of "Meals, Ready-To-Eat" (MREs), which are individual field rations for soldiers. Since 1990, HMC has sold almost 200 million FRHs for use by the U.S. military. |

In February 1995, the Company formed a wholly-owned subsidiary, HeaterMeals Inc. to assemble, market and distribute a self-heating meal for the general public under the trademark, HeaterMeals. HeaterMeals come in an assortment of shelf-stable entrees that require no refrigeration. The meals are packed with utensils, seasonings, a water activation pouch and a ZT Energy Pad, to provide A Hot Meal Anytime…Anyplace™. HeaterMeals are sold in over 1200 truck stops around the country, in sporting goods stores, specialty retail stores, as well as direct from the company at the HMC factory or www.heatermeals.com. In January 2002, The HeaterMeals Company began marketing a new self-heating product for group foodservice situations under the trademark name, HeaterMeals Plus. HeaterMeals Plus combines the convenience of original self-heating HeaterMeals and additional food and beverage items that make HeaterMeals Plus a full course meal. Since introduction, the Company has sold almost 5 million HeaterMeals and HeaterMeals Plus. |
