HeaterMeals Part of Red Cross "Topping Off" Ceremony

     8/25/09 - The Cincinnati Chapter of the Red Cross celebrated the completion of Phase One of the construction of their new Headquarters today with a "Topping Off" ceremony.  The gathering marked the placing of the last steel beam, and the completion of the basic structure.  Before the beam was put into place, guests were invited to sign it.  

     HeaterMeals own Dave Blandford attended the celebration and left his mark on the beam.

    The new facility, scheduled for completion in the Spring of 2010, will also serve as the new Disaster Operations Center for the local chapter.  The Cincinnati Red Cross Chapter serves twenty-five counties in Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Indiana, and responds to over 700 disasters a year.
